The Water Vapour Permeability Tester is applicable in water vapour permeability test of
barrier materials such as plastic film and laminated film. Users can control and adjust
the technical index of packaging materials by testing the water vapour transmission rate.
This equipment is designed and manufactured based on gravimetric method according to
standards GB/T 16928, GB 1037, ISO 2528, JIS Z0208, ASTM E 96, and ASTM D 1653. The
temperature and humidity of test chambers are controlled by microcomputer. Server controls
and monitors the full procedure of test, easy to operate. Twelve chambers do the test at
the same time, high in efficiency.

1. Test principle
Saturated water vapour transmits through specimen in a unit time under specified conditions
of temperature and humidity. Determine the transmitted mass by test the decreasing weight of
distilled water with time going.

2. Performance
* Before test, just input parameters of pre-heating time, test temperature, and so on. Tester
will finish the test automatically and print out test results.
* WVTR under different conditions got, one group or multi-groups test conditions set according
to actual requirement of packaging materials.
* The upper limit is that 12 different materials are tested at one time, selectable various test conditions.
* Computer enables the functions of storage, researching, printing,and curve displaying.
* Calibrate by standard poise, easy to operate.
