Transcranial Doppler System (TCD) is to
detect the direction, velocity and turbulence
of blood flow through carotid arteries and
encephalic vessels. The painless technique
shows different speeds of blood flow in different
colors on a computer screen.. It proffers information
to assesses the risk of vessel stroke. Because it
is non-invasive and uses no x rays, it is widely
used as routine diagnostic procedures.
